Kaman Corp. (NYSE: KAMN), Bloomfield, Connecticut, reported sales for the second quarter of $174.7 million, down 2.2% year-over-year. Profit decreased 10.7%nto $13.5 million.
For the first six months, sales were $341.1 million, down 4.7% year-over-year. Profit decreased 5.5% to $27.6 million.
During the second quarter, Kaman announced the sale of its distribution segment to affiliates of Littlejohn & Co., LLC for $700 million in cash. The distribution segment results are reported as discontinued operations for all periods in the release.
