Hexcel CFO to Retire

Pensky will transition into the role of special advisor to the CEO in Sept.

Hexcel Corp., Stamford, CT, reports that EVP and CFO Wayne Pensky intends to retire on December 31 after more than 24 years with the company.

“Wayne has made innumerable contributions at Hexcel," said Hexcel CEO and president Nick Stanage. "He has been an outstanding CFO who has significantly influenced our business strategy, our financial performance and our pursuit of operational excellence. While he will be greatly missed, I respect his decision and look forward to his continued counsel as an advisor to our team through the end of the year.”

Hexcel’s board of directors appointed Patrick Winterlich to succeed Pensky as EVP and CFO, effective September 1 when Pensky will transition into the role of special advisor to the CEO.

Winterlich, who is currently SVP– tax, systems & enterprise reporting, joined Hexcel in 1998 and has held roles of increasing responsibility in operations, finance and information technology.
