BlackHawk Appoints New VP of East Region Sales

Industrial distributor BlackHawk Industrial promoted Trent Moss to Vice President of Sales in the Eastern Region, a newly created position.

Moss has played a “pivotal role” in leading BlackHawk’s largest region, the Mid-States, and brings over 20 years of sales and management experience to his new position, BlackHawk officials said in a Jan. 16 news release.

“I am honored and excited to take on this new role and drive greater execution of sales playbooks and secure larger market share,” Moss said. “I am committed to driving our sales strategies forward, building on the strong foundation we have, and ensuring continued success for our team and customers.”

Company officials say they are intent on creating additional value for industrial manufacturers by expanding into new geographic markets to reach more of their production facilities; expanding BlackHawk’s product offering to provide broader products and services to end-users value; and investing in sales channels which improve the effectiveness of its technical sales resources.

Oklahoma-based BlackHawk ranked twice on MDM’s 2023 Top Distributors Lists, including as No. 32 on the Top Industrial Distributors List and No. 14 on the Top MRO Industrial Distributors List. It has locations across the U.S., Mexico, United Kingdom, and the Philippines. It markets nearly three million products with a heavy emphasis on metal-working products.
