Crescent Electric Names Senior Director of Industrial Sales

Crescent Electric has appointed Tom Fechter to Senior Director of Industrial Sales, a newly created position within the company.

Illinois-based electrical distributor Crescent Electric Supply announced Jan. 24 it has appointed Tom Fechter as Senior Director of Industrial Sales.

In this newly created role, Fechter is responsible for industrial sales growth and will enhance Crescent Electric’s subject matter in key markets nationwide, such has conveyance and material handling, according to a news release. He will also focus on the continued development and reinforcement of Crescent’s standardized sales process.

“Tom has an impressive pedigree of leading industrial sales teams and partnering with customers to deliver the best possible results,” Crescent Senior Vice President of Industrial Business Edwin Ojeda said in the release. “Customer needs and expectations continue to evolve, and we are embracing this as an opportunity to listen more, do more and invest more, so we can serve our customers better than ever before. Tom is a proven leader, customer focused and a great addition to our organization.”

Prior to joining Crescent, Fechter held several positions of increasing responsibility at Werner Electric Supply Company, where he most recently served as Vice President of Industrial Sales. Fechter earned a bachelor’s degree in communications and business from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
