St. Louis, MO-based Graybar, No. 4 on MDM’s list of the top electrical distributors, reported sales for the second quarter of $1.5 billion, a 3.4 percent increase over the same period a year ago. Profit increased 32.7 percent to $29 million.
For the first six months of the year, sales $2.8 billion, a 2.9 percent increase from the same period last year. Profit increased 35.3 percent to $40.4 million.
“We had a record start to our year thanks to our continued investments in new locations, sales force expansion and enhanced e-commerce capabilities,” said Kathleen M. Mazzarella, president and CEO.
