Motion Industries Acquires AST Bearings

Industrial distributor Motion Industries, a subsidiary of Genuine Parts Company (NYSE: GPC), has acquired AST Bearings LLC.

AST is a supplier of high precision bearings and related products, with two locations in Montville, NJ, and Irvine, CA. The company expects the acquired business to generate annual revenues of $35 million.
