Seasonally adjusted production in the construction sector in February fell by 0.8 percent in the euro area (EA17) and by 0.4 percent in the EU272, compared with the previous month, according to first estimates released by Eurostat.
In January, production declined by 2.1 percent in the euro area and by 1.7 percent in the EU27.
Compared with the prior year, production in February increased by 0.8 percent in the euro area, but dropped by 1.1 percent in the EU27.
