Rockwell Automation Sales Down 24% in Fiscal 2009
Fourth-quarter sales for Rockwell were down 28%.
Rockwell Automation, Inc. (NYSE: ROK), Milwaukee, WI, reported sales in the fourth quarter fiscal 2009 were down 28% from the prior-year period. Fourth quarter sales were $1.07 billion.
Currency translation contributed 3 percentage points to the decline.
Fiscal 2009 fourth quarter revenue was up 6% from the third quarter 2009.
Fiscal 2009 fourth quarter profit was $28.9 million, compared to $125.6 million in the fourth quarter of 2008.
Sales for the full fiscal year were $4.3 billion, down 24% compared to $5,697.8 million in fiscal 2008.
Control Products & Solutions fiscal 2009 fourth quarter sales were $650.3 million, a decrease of 25% from $867.2 million in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2008.
Architecture & Software fiscal 2009 fourth quarter sales were $424.1 million, a decrease of 31% from $617.1 million in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2008.
