West Chester, OH-based fasteners and industrial supplies distributor AFC Industries has acquired Allied Inventory Systems — a McKinney, TX-based provider of inventory management and supply chain solutions.
Allied Inventory Systems will join the growing AFC Aerospace & Defense business unit, strengthening the company’s capabilities to support manufacturers and assemblers operating in aerospace, defense, and other mission-critical industries.

In a March 23 news release, the company said the addition of Allied Inventory Systems represents a continued investment by AFC Industries in building the infrastructure, expertise, and supply chain systems required to support the growing demands of the aerospace and defense markets.
The news comes about five months after AFC announced the launch of its Aerospace and Tooling business units.
“Allied Inventory Systems has built a strong reputation for supporting customers where it matters most — on the production floor,” said Kevin Godin, CEO of AFC Industries. “As we continue to expand our Aerospace & Defense platform, the goal is not simply to supply more parts. The winners in this industry are the ones who become indispensable to the customer’s production process. Allied understands that responsibility, and their team strengthens our ability to support customers operating in highly demanding environments.”
“Joining the AFC Aerospace & Defense team allows us to continue doing what we do best while expanding the resources and capabilities we can bring to our customers,” added Neal Lober, Vice President of Allied Inventory Systems. “We are excited about the opportunities this partnership creates for our team and the customers we serve.”
Allied Inventory Systems will continue operating from its McKinney location.
On MDM’s 2025 Top Distributors Lists, AFC Industries was No. 7 for Fasteners and No. 29 for Industrial Supplies. The company is owned by Bertram Capital, which acquired AFC in 2021 from Incline Equity Partners.
