Electric motors and air moving subsystems manufacturer Regal Rexnord has appointed Aamir Paul as its next CEO, with the leadership transition expected to take effect no later than July 1, the company announced April 22.
Paul currently serves as President of North America operations at Schneider Electric and will succeed Louis Pinkham, who has led Regal Rexnord since 2019 and will remain in the role through the transition. Paul has been at Schneider since 2013 and is a board member of the National Association of Manufacturers.
The appointment concludes a succession process launched in late 2025, as Regal Rexnord’s board sought a leader to guide the company’s next phase of growth across its motion control, power transmission and automation portfolio.
Paul brings experience leading electrification, automation and digital transformation initiatives at Schneider Electric, including oversight of a large North American business serving industrial and infrastructure markets.
“Aamir is a proven leader with deep experience driving growth and operational excellence in complex industrial businesses,” said Chairman Rakesh Sachdev, citing his track record in scaling technology-enabled solutions and advancing customer-focused strategies.
Milwaukee-based Regal Rexnord is comprised of three operating segments: Automation & Motion Control, Industrial Powertrain Solutions, and Power Efficiency Solutions. It has approximately 30,000 employees worldwide and had 2025 annual revenue of $5.93 billion.
“As I have come to know Regal Rexnord, I have become increasingly excited about the tremendous growth potential of the company’s portfolio, its unique scale and scope and its market-leading technologies,” Paul added. “I look forward to further capitalizing on Regal’s 80/20 operating philosophy to drive continued focus, execution and value creation across the enterprise.”
The leadership change comes as Regal Rexnord continues to execute on portfolio optimization and growth initiatives across its Automation & Motion Control, Industrial Powertrain Solutions and Power Efficiency Solutions segments — businesses that supply critical components into fluid handling, motion and industrial systems.
