Eagan, MN-based automation distributor Tavoron has acquired Fluidraulics Inc., expanding its motion control portfolio and geographic presence in Pennsylvania and Ohio.
Fluidraulics is an automation components and systems distributor that has served customers across the two states since 1967. The company operates in the Pittsburgh and Cleveland markets and supplies medical and industrial customers. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Fluidraulics specializes in pneumatic automation products, including air cylinders, actuators, grippers, valves, fittings, sensors and filter-regulator-lubricator units. It also provides application and implementation support to help customers select and deploy automation equipment.

Tavoron said the acquisition advances its strategy of providing integrated automation solutions combining electrical and fluid power technologies. The deal adds Fluidraulics’ product portfolio, supplier relationships and technical expertise to Tavoron’s Automation Distribution segment.
“Fluidraulics brings more than five decades of fluid power expertise, longstanding vendor relationships and a strong reputation for service — qualities that align directly with Tavoron’s mission to advance industrial operations across North America,” Tavoron CEO Nicholas Martino said in a July 14 news release.
Fluidraulics CEO Paul Hodge said joining Tavoron will provide the company’s customers with access to a broader range of technologies, services and engineering resources.
Fluidraulics will retain its team and vendor relationships while continuing to serve customers in the Pittsburgh and Cleveland areas. It will integrate into Tavoron’s broader automation distribution business.
The transaction represents Tavoron’s fifth add-on acquisition since private equity firm Fusion Capital Partners invested in the company in January 2025. Launched in 2024, Tavoron now comprises 14 companies and employs approximately 450 people across the U.S. and Canada.
Tavoron previously completed three acquisitions during the opening months of 2026. Those deals added Michigan-based DP Technologies Group and DP Brown of Saginaw; South Carolina-based Seltrol and subsidiary B.W. Clark; and Cedarburg, WI-based Doig Corp.
On April 1, Tavoron announced a unified brand initiative bringing its group of companies together under the Tavoron name. The company said its established divisions would retain their existing names and local operating structures while adopting common Tavoron branding. The visual updates are scheduled to roll out in phases throughout 2026.
