Reliable Safety & Flow Corp. Launches Following Merger

Reliable

Reliable Automatic Sprinkler and ASC Engineered Solutions have united under a new company: Reliable Safety & Flow Corporation.

Oak Brook, IL-based RSFC launched in early September as a manufacturer and distributor of fire-protection, mechanical and engineered flow products. The combined company offers fire sprinklers, devices, flexible connections, pipe-joining systems, flow-control products, valves, fittings, hangers, structural supports and related digital design and planning tools.

RSFC said the combination creates a unified platform supporting engineers, contractors, distributors and building owners from project specification through installation and maintenance. The company has more than 50 locations across North America and nine international facilities, combining manufacturing and distribution capabilities serving thousands of customers worldwide.

Its markets include commercial construction, advanced manufacturing, data centers, health care and life sciences, energy and power, water and wastewater, transportation, hospitality, education and government infrastructure.

“The built world is changing quickly,” RSFC Chief Executive Officer G. Jason Hild said in announcing the company. “Projects are more complex, schedules are tighter, and the built world needs partners who can solve more than one piece of the system.”

Reliable Automatic Sprinkler traces its history to 1920. The company manufactures and distributes fire-protection products, specializing in sprinklers, valves and system components. It operates a 467,000-square-foot manufacturing headquarters in Liberty, SC.

ASC’s heritage dates to the 1850 founding of Anvil. Its portfolio encompasses pipe preparation and joining, flow control, valves, fittings, hangers, supports, fabrication equipment and engineered products. ASC’s brands include Anvil, Gruvlok, Sharpe, SCI and ABZ. The business maintains a network of manufacturing plants and regional distribution centers.

RSFC said bringing the businesses together will provide customers with a broader offering, combined engineering and research capabilities and a single point of accountability across safety and flow systems.

Existing customer contracts, contacts, pricing and shipments remain unchanged. Customers will continue working with their current sales representatives and support teams, while the Reliable Automatic Sprinkler and ASC websites and customer portals will remain available during the transition.
