Distribution profit optimization software provider Cavallo has expanded its SalesPad for Business Central offering with three new solutions focused on pricing automation, document routing and customer intelligence.
Announced July 21, the additions extend Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central with functionality developed for distributors managing complex pricing policies, sales order workflows, inventory allocation and customer-specific business rules. Cavallo said the expanded platform is designed to reduce distributors’ reliance on manual processes and disconnected reporting tools.
The three new offerings are:
Advanced Pricing: The solution brings governed pricing decisions into the order workflow by applying configurable business rules, customer agreements, margin thresholds and approval requirements. It gives users visibility into how prices were calculated, enforces margin guardrails and can reprice orders as product costs change.
Smart Printing: The document-routing tool allows administrators to create profiles that determine when, where and how documents are distributed throughout the sales cycle. Those rules can cover pick instructions, packing documents, compliance paperwork, customer-specific inserts and other materials, helping reduce manual printing decisions and errors.
Customer IQ: The AI-powered customer intelligence offering continually monitors account activity to identify potential revenue risks and growth opportunities. It generates customer turnover risk scores, profitability segmentation and behavioral insights directly within SalesPad for Business Central, allowing sales teams to prioritize accounts without relying on separate analytics tools.
“These updates represent another step in our vision of building a modern distribution workflow platform,” Cavallo CEO Mike Biwer said in the announcement. “Whether it’s pricing an order, automating document delivery, or identifying customer risk, we’re embedding the intelligence where work gets done.”
The latest release also adds support for Business Central service documents within Cavallo’s Mission Control tool. New reservation reassignment capabilities are intended to give distributors greater flexibility when allocating inventory and fulfilling orders.
“Distribution is full of operational decisions that have traditionally depended on institutional knowledge or manual effort,” Biwer added. “Our goal is to help distributors make pricing, fulfillment, and customer management more consistent, more efficient, and easier to scale.”
Grand Rapids, MI-based Cavallo’s portfolio includes SalesPad, which extends Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Dynamics GP with distributor-focused workflow automation. Its Profit Max Platform provides AI-driven profit optimization and customer intelligence.
