Versum Materials Inc. (NYSE: VSM), Tempe, AZ, reported sales for the fiscal third quarter ended June 30 of $290.8 million, an increase of 19.8 percent compared to the same period a year ago. Profit increased 10.3 percent to $52.7 million.
The company reported sales for the first nine months of the year of $832.4 million, up 15.3 percent from the same period in 2016. Profit decreased 11 percent to $153.8 million.
