American Producers Supply Co., a Marietta, Ohio-based supplier of industrial, construction and oilfield supplies in the Midwest, on Monday announced the acquisition of Northwest Tool Supply, a Wixom, Michigan-based construction supplier. Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
American Producers Supply has experienced significant growth in all three of its market segments. The acquisition of Northwest Tool Supply on June 26 extends the geographic coverage of American Producers to include southern Michigan and will now include northwestern Ohio for daily delivery service.
American Producers said the former owners of Northwest Tool Supply — Carroll Randall and Larry Seiler — plus all of their employees will join the APS family.
With this addition, American Producers now has 13 locations in the Midwest. Prior to the acquisition, American Producers serviced customers throughout Ohio, West Virginia, Western Pennsylvania, Kentucky and Southern Indiana with corporate headquarters in Marietta. Branches are located in Columbus, Sunbury, Lancaster, Cincinnati and Portsmouth, OH; Huntington and St.Albans, WV; and in Bridgeville, PA, eight miles southwest of Pittsburgh, Louisville and Glasgow, KY, and Ferdinand, IN.
