CEO says expansion will allow BlackHawk” to reach more customer production facilities, expand products and services that end-users value, and invest in new effective sales channels.”
Reliance Supply

BlackHawk Industrial, Tulsa, Oklahoma, this week announced it has acquired Reliance Supply, a Jacksonville, Florida-based industrial fasteners distributor. Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.

BlackHawk said that “by adding the strategic category of industrial fasteners to the company’s product assortment, BlackHawk will now be able to service a broader range of customers while increasing the breadth of product offerings.”

Added John Mark, president and CEO of BlackHawk Industrial: “This expansion into the Florida market will allow us to reach more customer production facilities, expand products and services that end-users value, and invest in new effective sales channels. These elements are essential for our strategy to build the only distributor that is truly ‘big enough to serve and small enough to care.’”

Rob Carryl, who will serve as both the commercial leader of that branch as well as leading the growth of the industrial fasteners category for the entire BlackHawk organization, said Reliance is a great fit for the BlackHawk team and culture, adding, “The combined businesses offer unlimited potential and superior customer service.”
