Building materials distributor Kodiak Building Partners appointed presidents for two of its operating companies — Sun Mountain Custom Doors, and American Builders Supply.

Englewood, CO-based Kodiak announced March 12 that Corey Barnett is now President of Sun Mountain, which has a headquarters and showroom in Berthoud, CO. Kodiak noted Barnett brings over three decades of expertise in building materials and manufacturing to the role.

“As Kodiak and Sun Mountain welcome Cory, we are confident that his leadership will bring fresh perspectives, drive growth and continue the legacy of excellence that defines both companies,” said Jerry Jehnm, Senior Vice President of Doors, Windows and Millwork at Kodiak. “Cory’s strategic vision aligns with our commitment to innovation and excellence, setting a new era of success for Sun Mountain Custom Doors.”

Meanwhile, Josh Ward has been promoted to President of American Builders Supply (ABS)  — which is based in Orlando, FL, with additional Florida locations in Tampa, Melbourne, Jacksonville and Fort Myers. Kodiak noted that Ward has played pivotal roles within the organization as VP of Customer Experience and Director of Sales in Central Florida.
