Graybar’s Second-Quarter Sales Improve 26.6%

The electrical, communications and data networking products distributor also posted a 115.9% increase in profit to $80.1 million.

Electrical, communications and data networking products distributor Graybar, St. Louis, reported second-quarter sales of $2.2 billion, a 26.6% increase compared to the same period last year. Profit for the quarter was $80.1 million, up 115.9% from the same period in 2020.

Mazzarella, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Graybar. “Our employees remain focused on delivering an exceptional customer experience while navigating a fast-changing business environment. We have confidence that our sustained emphasis on growth, innovation and supply chain transformation will continue to drive our long-term success.”

For the first six months of 2021, the company reported net sales of $4.1 billion, a 16.9% increase compared to the same period last year. Net income for the first six months of the year increased 117.6% to $127.3 million.
