Airgas Acquires Weldinghouse & Priority Energy Services

Acquisitions enhance company's position in the Gulf Coast region and its nitrogen services offerings.

Airgas Inc. (NYSE: ARG), Radnor, PA, a supplier of industrial, medical and specialty gases, has acquired Weldinghouse Inc., Corpus Christi, TX, and Priority Energy Services LLC, Covington, LA. Terms were not disclosed.

Weldinghouse, an industrial gas and welding supply distributor with 2014 sales of $19 million, has four locations throughout southern Texas and nearly 40 associates.

The acquisition of Weldinghouse will enhance and strengthen Airgas' position in the Gulf Coast region and strengthen the South Texas welding industry.
