On Jan. 22, specialty chemicals and ingredients distributor LBB Specialties opened a new distribution center in Bristol, PA.
The 102,000-square-foot facility is designed with “cutting-edge” temperature control and storage technology. LBBS said the DC enables the company to better serve its partners and customers with eco-friendly solutions. The facility also incorporates various storage options, including cold, cool and hazardous materials storage.

LBBS added that the facility’s features and design allow the new center to streamline shipment consolidation and storage management, improving service reliability.
“The grand opening of this distribution center represents a major milestone in our continued efforts to improve customer experience and operational capabilities,” LBBS SVP of Operations Nabil Alidina said in a Feb. 11 news release. “By consolidating our storage under one roof, we not only gain greater control over our supply chain but also increase our ability to meet customer demands more quickly and effectively.”
The facility is DEA-certified and utilizes advanced technology to ensure safety and compliance, featuring a foam suppression system in the hazardous materials storage area.
