Wesco Aircraft Holdings Inc., Valencia, CA, reported sales for the third quarter ended June 30, 2013, of $230.2 million, up 21.6 percent compared to the prior-year quarter, including organic growth of 14 percent. Profit increased 21.2 percent to $27 million.

The increase in the North America segment’s external sales was 20.1 percent, which was mainly driven by growth across the company’s customer base. External sales in the rest of world segment increased by 27.3 percent in the third quarter compared to the prior-year period.

For the first nine months of fiscal 2013, sales were $667.3 million, an increase of 18.3 percent compared to the same period a year earlier. Profit increased 14.8 percent to $74.8 million.
