Parker Hannifin Aerospace President Bob Barker to Retire

Parker Hannifin Corp. (NYSE: PH), Cleveland, OH,  announced that Bob Barker,   EVP, operating officer and group president of Aerospace, will retire after 39 years with the company.

As a result, the motion control systems manufacturer is making leadership changes in several operating groups, effective July 1, 2012:

  • Roger Sherrard, currently VP and president of the Automation Group will replace Bob Barker as president of the Aerospace Group.  
  • Michael Chung, currently VP and president of the Asia Pacific Group, has been named president of the Automation Group, replacing Roger Sherrard. 
  • Kurt Keller, currently VP and president of the Seal Group, has been named president of the Asia Pacific Group, replacing Michael Chung. 
  • Andy Ross, currently VP of operations for the Hydraulics Group has been named VP and president of the Seal Group, replacing Kurt Keller.

Annual sales for Parker Hannifin exceeded $12 billion in fiscal year 2011. The company employs approximately 58,000 people in 47 countries.
