AI-driven profit optimization platform Cavallo announced the launch of its Profit Max Platform on July 23.
Developed with Cavallo’s “Science of Profit” methodology, the Profit Max Platform offers distributors data-driven tools to improve profitability and operational efficiency. The platform uses specialized AI to streamline complex decisions, optimize margins and identify growth opportunities.

Cavallo’s AVA AI analyzes ERP data and delivers targeted actions to help distributors improve profits. With pre-configured features, Cavallo said the platform can be deployed in days and offers actionable insights.
Key capabilities of the Profit Max Platform include:
- Customer Intelligence: Detects churn risks, segments customer profitability and recommends daily actions to retain high-value accounts. It also highlights opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
- Margin Intelligence: Identifies the most and least profitable products and customers, highlights margin shifts and prioritizes actions that can improve overall profitability. Includes scenario modeling to predict the impact of changes in pricing, product mix and volume.
- Product Intelligence: Analyzes item performance, segments products by value and trend and identifies high-margin items for promotion. Also flags underperforming SKUs for price changes or removal to reduce margin loss.
“Launching Profit Max Platform marks an exciting new chapter of innovation for Cavallo as we fill the gaps left by traditional ERP and BI tools to maximize profitability and uncover growth opportunities,” Cavallo CEO Mike Biwer said in a news release. “Built for distributors, by distributors, Profit Max Platform supports our mission to help distributors become more profitable, more competitive and more valuable.”
