Material Handling Equipment Distributors Association announced the departure of the company’s CEO Jeannette Walker, and its search to find a successor.
Walker was appointed CEO in 2023, succeeding longtime leader Liz Richards, who led the Wauconda, IL-based association for 27 years. Prior to joining MHEDA, Walker held executive roles at TVH, IMC Holdings and Toyota Marondera.

“In the coming months, I will be working closely with the MHEDA Board of Directors Executive Committee to begin the search for MHEDA’s next leader,” Walker said in a Jun 18 release. “During this transition period, I will continue to serve as CEO to help ensure a smooth and thoughtful process. Our goal is to identify a leader who will continue to build on the strong foundation we’ve created together and guide MHEDA into the future.”
