ContiTech — the industrial hose, belting, springs and anti-vibration unit of Germany-based automotive solutions manufacturing conglomerate Continental AG — has appointed Jim Hill as Vice President of Distribution for its Industrial Solutions Americas (IAM) business area.
Hill previously served as IAM vice president of marketing and strategy.
In his new role, Hill will lead distribution efforts across the region, focusing on building and enhancing relationships with customers and distribution partners.
“Jim’s extensive industry experience and proven leadership make him well-suited to lead our distribution strategy in the Americas,” said Andreas Gerstenberger, ContiTech USA CEO and Head of Business Area Industrial Solutions Americas. “His deep knowledge of our markets and customers will be instrumental as we continue to strengthen our distribution network.”
Before joining ContiTech in 2015, Hill held management positions at Goodyear Tire & Rubber and later senior executive roles at Goodyear Engineered Products, which became Veyance Technologies and is now part of ContiTech.
In April of 2025, Continental announced plans to spin off ContiTech. And in August, it announced the sale of its ContiTech Original Equipment Solutions (OESL) arm to U.S. private equity firm Regent as it shifted its focus more to its industrial business. Continental announced the completion of that deal on Feb. 2.
