Gas distributor Helget Gas Products headquartered in Omaha, NE, has acquired CESCO, a Northwest Arkansas-based beverage gas and equipment distributor headquartered in Fayetteville, AR. This acquisition marks the company’s 15th branch location nationwide.

In a Jan. 2 news release, company officials said the CESCO acquisition strengthens Helget Gas Products’ ability to support customers and branch operations across the Fayetteville region, enhancing service continuity, logistics efficiency and customer responsiveness for existing and future markets.
CESCO began operations in 1998, initially focused on cleaning and servicing ice machines. Over time, the company expanded its offerings to include leasing and servicing ice machines, beverage equipment, dish machines and bulk CO2 systems. Today, CESCO provides a range of beverage and gas solutions, including gourmet sodas and juices, nitrogen, propane, and CO2 tanks, serving customers throughout the tri-state region.
The company serves restaurants, convenience stores and commercial beverage customers, specializing in monitored bulk CO2 systems with 24/7 tank monitoring, nitrogen supply, customized delivery programs designed to support uninterrupted beverage operations, and ongoing service and maintenance.
“This location is a strategic addition to our network and supports our long-term growth plans,” said Jim Helget, President of Helget Gas Products. “CESCO has earned the trust of its customers through consistent service and strong local relationships, which align well with how we do business.”
CESCO Owner Tony Wing said joining Helget Gas Products provides the resources and infrastructure to enable “expanded support and enhanced service capabilities throughout the region.”
Helget Gas Products has supplied gas products and services to the beverage and medical industries since the early ’80s. The acquisition reflects the company’s ongoing strategy of growing through strong regional partnerships that enhance service while preserving local relationships.
