Safety equipment, tools and customized workwear distributor GME Supply announced a pair of acquisitions on May 5 in the form of ASK Tower Supply and Peak Trading.
ASK Tower Supply
Based in Albuquerque, NM, ASK Tower Supply is a distributor of essential components and supplies for the telecommunications industry, focusing on tower construction, maintenance and site hardware as well as safety and rescue equipment.
The company began in 1999 as ASK Motorsports & Equipment as a racing and motorsports supplier before rebranding in 2014.
“Joining forces allows us to scale our specialized tower expertise while maintaining the ‘customer-first’ mentality that ASK was built on,” ASK President Kyle Barr said in a news release. “We are excited to offer our clients an even broader range of solutions without losing the personal touch they expect.”

Peak Trading
Established in 1997, Peak’s products include wire rope, aircraft cable, rigging and lifting equipment, rope, climbing gear, fall protection, tie-down equipment, hand tools and more. The company serves markets of industrial rigging, rope and rescue, adventure park, zip line/canopy tour, theatrical rigging, arborist and construction.
“Peak Trading has always been about quality and reliability. By integrating with the larger GME platform, we can now accelerate our innovation and provide our industrial customers with enhanced logistics and a deeper inventory of the rigging and fall protection gear they depend on,” Peak Trading President and CEO Kevin Pitcock said.
The additions come less than a month after GME appointed for HD Supply executive Tony Drew as its new COO. Meanwhile, Ryan Keogh became CEO on Jan. 1 of this year, while former CEO Caleb Messer transitioned to Executive Chairman.
“We are incredibly excited to welcome Peak Trading and ASK Tower Supply into the GME Supply family of companies,” said Ryan Keogh, CEO. “These acquisitions are a perfect fit for our long-term vision. Peak Trading is a powerhouse in the rigging and rope access world, and ASK Tower Supply brings technical knowledge in the Telecommunications market that is second to none. Our goal has always been to be the best partner for our customers, and with these new teams on board, we are strengthening our ability to serve specific markets and drive innovation and safety across the industries we serve.”
