Fasteners distributor Endries International announced July 1 that it has acquired the business and assets of Blue Chip Engineered Products — a Kentucky-based provider of custom-engineered fasteners, components and value-added services.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Headquartered in Erlanger, KY, Blue Chip specializes in custom industrial fasteners, metal stampings and electronic hardware solutions. Founded in 1984, the company supports manufacturers across markets that include automotive, medical devices and lighting.

Endries said Blue Chip will continue operating from its Erlanger location, with founder Ken Sanker serving as General Manager and overseeing day-to-day operations.

“This acquisition strengthens Endries’ position in key industrial and high-specification markets,” Endries President and CEO Dan Crociata said in the company’s announcement. “Blue Chip’s legacy of customer-focused service models, combined with its custom-engineered fasteners, complements our existing capabilities and enhances the value we deliver to customers.”

On MDM’s 2026 Top Distributors Lists, Endries was No. 10 for Fasteners and No. 40 for Industrial Supplies.

Blue Chip’s website says the company provides vendor-managed inventory programs, kitting and packaging, design support and sourcing services. Its product offering includes assemblies, cold heading, electronic hardware, molded parts, nuts, screw machine parts, stampings, weld products and wire forms.

“Joining Endries marks an exciting new chapter for Blue Chip,” Sanker said. “By combining our expertise in engineered fasteners and custom components with Endries’ global scale and supply chain capabilities, we will expand our offerings, strengthen our ability to serve customers and create new opportunities for growth.”

Brillion, WI-based Endries distributes industrial fasteners, Class-C components and customized inventory management solutions to industrial and commercial OEMs. The company said it manages more than 800,000 SKUs and operates 28 distribution centers across North America and Europe.

The deal is Endries’ first acquisition since November 2024, when it added Apopka, FL-based Assembly Fasteners. That deal expanded Endries’ presence in Florida, North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee and Texas.
