Packaging supplies distributor TricorBraun has opened a new distribution center in Laval, Quebec, expanding its Canadian distribution network and adding inventory capacity closer to customers in the province.
The Aug. 10 announcement said the facility is positioned near Highways 15 and 440, providing access to major transportation routes serving regional and cross-border markets. TricorBraun said the location is intended to shorten shipping distances and reduce delivery times while improving product availability for Quebec customers.
The warehouse will also give TricorBraun more flexibility to support customers with urgent, seasonal or growth-driven demand. The distributor said the additional local inventory can reduce reliance on products shipped from outside the province and support inventory release programs tied to production needs and changing demand.
“Quebec is one of the country’s most important logistics and manufacturing hubs,” TricorBraun Canada Regional Vice President Yvan Lapointe said. He added that the local presence will allow the company to operate closer to customers as their businesses grow and evolve.
The distribution center is located within Écoparc Laval 15, a sustainable industrial development. TricorBraun said the facility is pursuing LEED Silver and Zero Carbon Building certifications.
Founded in 1902, St. Louis-based TricorBraun provides stock and custom packaging solutions across markets including food, beverage, pharmaceutical, personal care and industrial. The company has more than 2,300 employees operating from over 100 locations across the Americas, Europe, Asia and Australia.
