Huddersfield, U.K.-based Accu has established its first U.S. distribution center in Indianapolis, IN and appointed Giovanni Cespedes as Managing Director of Accu Inc., the company announced in late September.

The 10,000-square-foot facility expands the online fasteners and engineering components distributor’s North American presence, positioning inventory closer to U.S. customers and supply chain partners. Accu said the location will support faster fulfillment and localized service, citing Indiana’s central location and manufacturing base across automotive, electrical and heavy machinery.

Founded in 2012, Accu supplies fasteners, tools and motion control components through an eCommerce model serving customers in more than 125 countries. Its product range includes precision screws, nuts, washers, assembly hardware and linear and rotary components. Customers span manufacturing, electronics, robotics, medical equipment, aerospace and automotive applications.

The company accommodates orders ranging from individual components to production quantities and offers custom manufacturing services. Its digital platform includes AI-enhanced search and real-time stock availability, backed by 24/7 customer support.

Cespedes will lead Accu’s U.S. business as it expands across North America. His background includes owning Charlotte, NC-based fastener distributor Falcon Fastenings and serving as North America Managing Director at TR Fastenings.

“I’m excited to join Accu Components at such a pivotal moment as we scale our North American operations,” Cespedes said.

Accu Vice President of U.S. Operations Daniel Ackroyd said changes in the global trade environment accelerated the company’s international expansion plans. The Indianapolis facility will primarily serve U.S. customers, with additional hiring planned in the coming months.

The expansion follows a year of growth for Accu, which reported a 24% revenue increase for the year ended November 2025 and more than tripled its pretax profit.
