DXP Enterprises Inc. (NASDAQ: DXPE), Houston, TX, has acquired Cortech Engineering LLC, Yorba Linda, CA a distributor of pumps and related process equipment serving Southern and Central California and Southern Nevada. Terms were not disclosed.
Cortech, which operates locations in Yorba Linda, Bakersfield and National City, CA, has 55 employees and serves customers in the municipal water and wastewater, general industrial, chemical and marine markets. The company reported sales for the 12 months ending July 31 of $26.2 million and profit of $3 million.
"We are excited to utilize Cortech’s experience to bolster our market share in the municipal wastewater treatment, water treatment and desalination markets for California, the West Coast and throughout the United States," said DXP CEO David Little.
