Lincoln Electric Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: LECO), Cleveland, OH, has acquired Vizient Manufacturing Solutions, Bettendorf, IA. Terms were not disclosed. 

Vizient, with annual sales of $40 million and operations in Iowa and Brazil, is a robotic integrator specialized in custom engineered tooling and automated arc welding systems for general and heavy fabrication applications.  

The acquisition expands Lincoln's global growth opportunities and helps diversify its end market exposure, according to Christopher Mapes, president and CEO.
