CNG Acquires Lewis Paper International

CNG’s North American regions will absorb Lewis Paper operations in its own geographic region throughout 6 facilities in 4 states.
On Aug. 8, LDR Growth Partners announced it had acquired two U.S. Midwest heat exchanger manufacturers: Cincinnati Radiator Inc. and Ohio Heat Transfer Ltd.

On June 20, Purchase, New York-based paper and wood products global distributor Central National Gottesman Inc. announced its acquisition of Lewis Paper International. Headquartered in Illinois, Lewis is a distributor of paper, packaging and wide-format products.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

CNG’s North American regions are split into two regions: the Midwest, which is serviced by Lindenmeyr Munroe, and the West, which is serviced by Kelly Spicers. Each organization will absorb the Lewis Paper operations in its own geographic region, which includes six facilities located throughout Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Colorado.

“The acquisition of Lewis Paper continues our history of commitment to the paper business and the commercial printing sector,” said Lindenmeyr Munroe President Bill Meany. “Adding their facilities to our operations allows us to strengthen our service and inventory levels for paper, packaging and wide format customers.”

“Lewis Paper is a trusted and recognized brand, with valuable regional insights and product expertise,” said Kelly Spicers President Jan Gottesman. “With new customers and additional products, we look forward to expanding our presence throughout the Midwest and Colorado.”
