Envoy Solutions (Glenview, Illinois) expanded its footprint in the Northeast U.S. this past week with two acquisitions: Knight Marketing Corporation (Maspeth, New York) and H.T. Berry Company (Canton, Massachusetts). The financial terms were not disclosed for either transaction.

Knight Marketing — a Jan-San distributor of products including janitorial, facilities maintenance, foodservice and hospitality supplies — was founded in 1991 and serves the New York metro and Tri-State area. Envoy announced the acquisition of Knight Marketing in a news release Sept. 2.

“This move is the best opportunity for unlimited growth potential that we’ve had in more than 30 years of business,” Knight Marketing president Stan Peters said. “It’s an honor to partner with Envoy Solutions, a national leader in specialized distribution.”

“By joining forces with Knight Marketing, we are able to better serve our clients in the New York metropolitan area,” Envoy CEO Mark Fisher added. “This is a great example of how our differentiated business model identifies gaps in the market and unites leading distribution brands in each region.”

Envoy announced its acquisition of H.T. Berry — a Boston-area distributor of paper, disposable and janitorial products since 1964 — in a news release Sept. 6.

“By joining Envoy Solutions, we gain a strong national partner that will significantly deepen our category knowledge, expand our product offerings, and accelerate our growth in the future,” H.T. Berry CEO Jane Busconi said.

“H.T. Berry Company will greatly enhance our product offerings for janitorial supplies and foodservice disposables in the New England market to help us deliver the best solutions for our clients,” Fisher said.

Envoy Solutions, based in the Chicago area, is a distributor of Jan-San, foodservice and packaging supplies. Envoy was named a Top Jan-San Distributor in Modern Distribution Management’s 2022 Top Distributor list.
