Heavy duty truck parts distributor FleetPride acquired the assets of ARS Truck & Fleet Service.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
New Castle, DE-based ARS offers repair and service solutions to both commercial businesses and government agencies. Founded in 1972, the company operates 25 service bays across two locations and has a fleet of around 16 mobile service trucks. ARS provides a range of services, including on-site mobile support and in-house repairs, as well as preventative maintenance for fleet vehicles.

“We are excited to welcome the entire ARS Truck & Fleet Service team to our company,” FleetPride President of Parts and Service Mike Harris said in a Jan. 29 news release. “Patrick Connell and his outstanding team are a model of customer service and operational excellence. We are proud to carry on ARS’s legacy and continue serving their valued customers along the Eastern Seaboard.”

FleetPride said the acquisition of ARS strengthens its leadership in the heavy-duty industry while offering ARS customers access to a national network of parts, services and digital solutions. It also provides ARS employees with new training opportunities through FleetPride Tech University.
