Madison Heights, MI-based industrial electronics and automation products distributor Galco Industrial Electronics acquired Brozelco, Inc.
Terms were not disclosed, but Brozelco will continue to operate under its current name.

Based in Tennessee, Brozelco is a distributor of industrial automation solutions, with expertise in engineering, system integration, fabrication and contracting. For more than 30 years, the company has delivered technical solutions across automation, mining, utilities, manufacturing and industrial operations, serving clients from its locations in Rockford, Chattanooga and Kingsport, TN.
“Acquiring Brozelco enhances our ability to deliver comprehensive industrial automation, system integration and engineering services to customers across key industries,” Galco President and CEO Allison Sabia said in a Feb. 27 news release. “Their expertise in utility switchyard refurbishment, rock quarry automation and specialty mining products provides Galco with opportunities for expansion and growth in these industry verticals.”

Galco said the acquisition enhances its capabilities in the industrial automation sector, especially in custom control solutions, turnkey electrical projects and hazardous location-certified system integration.
