On March 9, it was announced that Victoria, Australia-based Reece Group — a distributor of plumbing, waterworks and HVACR products — has acquired Barsco Inc., a Dallas-based distributor of refrigeration and HVAC equipment, parts and supplies throughout Texas.
Financial details were not disclosed. Barsco has 12 locations across Texas. 
“The Founders team did a phenomenal job guiding us through the process of finding a new home for Barsco,” said David Jones, President of Barsco. “With their expertise in our market, we knew that we could trust their judgement and guidance.”
Founders Advisors advised Barsco in its sale to Reece.
Reece operates more than 800 branches in Australia, New Zealand and the U.S. In the U.S., the company operates more than 200 branches across the Sun Belt region.
