AD Member Sales Grow 13% in First Half of 2018

AD member U.S. sales up 11 percent for first six months of year.

North American buying group AD, Wayne, PA, reported sales for all AD members, across 12 AD divisions and countries, grew by 13 percent in the first half of 2018 to $20.1 billion.

On a same store basis, by industry, electrical sales were up 9 percent; PHCP sales were up 13 percent; industrial/PT sales were up 12 percent; and building materials sales were up 7 percent.  By country, same store sales grew in the U.S. by 11 percent, Canadian sales were up by 10 percent and Mexico sales grew by 12 percent.
