IDEA Announces 2021 Board of Directors

Industry Data Exchange Association, Arlington, Virginia, announced Brian DiBella will serve as the Board Chair for the coming year. DiBella, president of Electrical Wiring Systems at Legrand North America, previously served as Legrand’s CIO. “Brian’s collaborative leadership and his ability to drive priorities for the industry will continue to help IDEA with its long-term roadmap,” says David Oldfather, president and CEO of IDEA, in a release.

“I look forward to working with some of the industry’s thought leaders as IDEA chair,” says DiBella. “IDEA has invested in a next-generation digital product platform to enable the rapid exchange of information between trading partners. With so many opportunities ahead to create greater supply chain efficiencies, I’m excited to be a part of the continued progress made by IDEA.”

According to the association, IDEA’s upcoming initiatives include increasing product content quantity, improving data quality, simplifying data management and reporting, and setting, facilitating, and monitoring data standards.
