Packaging solutions distributor TricorBraun will expand its Australian presence and packaging capabilities with the acquisition of two specialty packaging distributors.

The addition of spirits packaging distributor UniquePak and industrial packaging distributor Alplas Products will add to TricorBraun’s footprint in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), which was established with the previous acquisitions of Cormack Packaging in 2021, PB Packaging in 2022 and Plas-Pak WA earlier this year. Since its founding, TricorBraun has acquired 44 packaging companies globally.

All UniquePak and Alplas team members will remain with TricorBraun. The companies will continue as stand-alone businesses, operating as UniquePak, a TricorBraun company, and Alplas Products, a TricorBraun company. Over time, the companies will transition to the TricorBraun ANZ brand.

Financial terms of the deals were not disclosed.
