Airgas Inc. (NYSE: ARG), Radnor, PA, has announced plans to close the Paco, WV, facility where an explosion in May injured two employees, the Charleston Gazette reported.
According to the report, Airgas communications manager Sarah Stockton-Brown said the decision to close the plant was an indirect result of the accident, which prompted an evaluation of the facility. Stockton-Brown said the decision to close the plant was based on its reduced capacity.
