Beacon Roofing Supply, Inc. (Nasdaq: BECN), Peabody, MA, has agreed to acquire Pittsburgh, PA-based McClure-Johnston Co. The distributor of residential and commercial roofing products has 14 locations in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland and Georgia. Annual sales are $85 million.

Beacon Roofing Supply is a distributor of roofing materials and complementary building products operating 210 branches in 38 states in the U.S. and Canada. Sales for the fiscal third quarter ended June 30, 2012, were $561 million, a 3.7 percent increase over the prior-year period.
