Austin-based B2B eCommerce platform BigCommerce rebranded as Commerce and announced a partnership with AI-powered pricing solutions provider PROS on July 31.
Commerce Rebrand
BigCommerce has changed its corporate name to Commerce.com, unifying its three key offerings — BigCommerce, Feedonomics and Makeswift — under a single parent brand.
Effective around Aug. 1, the company’s stock will begin trading on the Nasdaq under the new ticker symbol CMRC, replacing BIGC.
As part of the rebrand, Commerce said it outlined its strategy to support AI-driven commerce, where artificial intelligence assists consumers in researching, recommending and completing purchases. The company plans to equip merchants with the data infrastructure and tools needed to support this model.

BigCommerce, Feedonomics and Makeswift will continue operating as distinct products under the Commerce brand:
- BigCommerce is an eCommerce platform designed for scalable growth
- Feedonomics optimizes product data for use across multiple global channels
- Makeswift is a visual editor for building and customizing digital storefronts
“Launching the Commerce brand is about more than a new name and logo,” Commerce CEO Travis Heiss said in a news release. “It is a clear declaration to our customers, partners, investors and team that we are doubling down on innovation to give brands, retailers, manufacturers, distributors and wholesalers the flexibility, connectivity and care to help them move faster, scale smarter and grow on their terms. Agentic commerce requires a new playbook, and Commerce is here to deliver it with an open ecosystem built for speed, intelligence and flexibility.”
PROS Partnership
Alongside the rebrand, Commerce and PROS announced a partnership to advance B2B digital commerce by combining PROS’ AI-driven pricing and selling tools with Commerce’s technology solutions.
According to a news release, by integrating PROS’ pricing and CPQ capabilities with Commerce’s suite of applications, the partnership aims to reduce delays, minimize errors and accelerate revenue for B2b customers.

Commerce said the joint solution supports B2B companies with complex product catalogs and global operations, helping them adapt to market changes, improve customer engagement and streamline sales across diverse channels.
“By embedding our AI-powered pricing and selling capabilities directly into the eCommerce experience, we’re enabling businesses to optimize pricing and product recommendations, streamline complex quoting and deliver real-time, market-relevant offers that build buyer confidence, accelerate decision-making and drive profitability,” PROS President and CEO Jeff Cotton said in the news release.

Heiss added: “By partnering with PROS, we’re giving our customers, from mid-market to global enterprises, the tools to not only sell online, but to do so intelligently, competitively and at scale. And we see this impact going beyond B2B to B2C retailers managing large, dynamic catalogs across multiple channels to improve margin and drive conversion across storefronts and marketplaces. This collaboration sets a new standard for what modern commerce can achieve.”
