Gases, welding and safety supplies distributor Meritus Gas Partners acquired Oxygen Service Company.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Based in Saint Paul, MN, OSC is a supplier of packaged gases and welding supplies, serving the U.S. Midwest across six locations in Minnesota and three in Wisconsin. The company offers a range of products and services, such as industrial, specialty and medical gases, automation equipment and integration services and an array of welding and safety supplies. OSC serves a broad customer base, including healthcare, food and beverage, manufacturing and construction.

Meritus completed eight acquisitions in 2024, including its recent trio in July, September and October of Oklahoma City, OK-based City Carbonic; Houston, TX-based Gulf Coast Gas; and California-based East Bay Welding Supply, respectively.
