Builders FirstSource — No. 2 on MDM’s 2025 Top Distributor’s List for Building Materials/Construction supplies — acquired Utah-based St. George Truss. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
St. George Truss is a manufacturer of trusses serving builders in southern Utah and southern Nevada. Established in 1985 by Doug Nielson, the company is a member of the Southern Utah Home Builders Association.

Irving TX-based BFS said the acquisition provides it with the company’s first location in St. George and a foundation to provide a wider range of products and services to customers in the market.
This is BFS’ third deal of 2025, following its previous acquisitions of Pennsylvania-based O.C. Cluss Lumber & Building Supply on Feb. 4 and Nevada-based Truckee Tahoe Lumber on April 8.
