Specialty fasteners and tapes master distributor LindFast Solutions Group (LSG) has appointed Heather Skiba as Senior Vice President of Operations for North America, effective Dec. 1.

Skiba joins Blaine, MN-based LSG after spending the past 28 years at industrial distributors. She was at fasteners supplier Optimas Solutions for the past 11 years — most recently as Vice President of Americas Operations — after spending 1997 to 2015 at Anixter.

LindFast noted that, throughout her career, Skiba as earned a reputation for scaling teams, transforming systems and delivering measurable results across complex distribution networks. She began her career in accounting and finance, advancing through controllership and inventory roles before moving into operations leadership. LSG added that this unique background gives her an end-to-end perspective on how finance, systems and execution work together to achieve operational excellence.

At Anixter/Optimas, Skiba led initiatives that streamlined supply chain processes, optimized inventory management, and implemented technology-driven solutions to improve efficiency and customer experience.

“Her ability to drive continuous improvement and unlock new revenue streams has made her a respected leader in the industry,” LindFast said in a news release.
