Houston-based FloWorks International, a specialty distributor of critical flow control products and a portfolio company of Wynnchurch Capital, has acquired Cranford Equipment Co. (CEC).
Headquartered in Kenner, LA, CEC is a distributor of filtration products, serving diverse industrial applications.
“Bart (Cranford, CEO) and his team have built an exceptional business, and we are excited to add CEC to the FloWorks platform,” FloWorks CEO Scott Jackson said in a Dec. 22 news release. “CEC expands FloWorks’ presence in industrial filtration and enhances capabilities to serve our core flow control customer base with more complete solutions.”
CEC represents the seventh acquisition completed by FloWorks under Wynnchurch’s ownership that began in early 2023. In October 2025, the company announced the acquisition of Slater Controls, a distributor of valve automation, instrumentation and relief valves with locations in Texas, New Mexico and Arizona.
