AI-powered sales order automation software provider Conexiom is undergoing top leadership change.
The Vancouver-based company announced Aug. 7 that it has appointed Darren Bonnstetter as its new CEO, to succeed John McNeil, who is retiring later this year. McNeill has been Conexiom’s CEO since March 2023.
Bonnstetter joins Conexiom with more than two decades of experience in helping companies harness technology to drive business transformation. Most recently, he led a climate-tech spinout from Google X, where he converted breakthrough science into a venture-backed company focused on industrial-scale automation and AI.

Conexiom said Bonnstetter’s appointment signals a new era of AI acceleration and customer-centric innovation at the company.
“I’m excited to join Conexiom at this pivotal time,” Bonnstetter said in a news release. “Distributors and manufacturers are the backbone of global commerce. Our goal is to help them operate with more speed, precision and agility through AI-powered automation.”
Under McNeill, Conexiom launched key AI capabilities that include sales order digitizing platform “Complete AI Automation,” and self-learning customer satisfaction and margin leakage system “AI Performance Optimization”.
“It has been a privilege to lead Conexiom through this transformation,” McNeill added. “Darren is the right leader for what comes next. His depth in AI and enterprise execution is exactly what our customers and partners need.”
