U.K.-based Klipboard, a provider of business management software solutions for retail, distribution, manufacturing, servicing and rental businesses, has acquired Savance Enterprise.

Headquartered near Detroit, Savance is a specialist ERP software platform created specifically for customers in wholesale distribution including electrical, HVAC, plumbing and industrial supply markets.

In a Jan. 14 news announcement, Klipboard stated the Savance Enterprise platform is built for usability and user adoption and that its infrastructure is designed to support multiple users accessing large volumes of data at the same time.  Its platform can scale from single-location businesses up to complex, multi-site and warehouse organizations.

Klipboard emphasized that Savance’s offering of one common system that integrates accounting, purchasing, sales and warehouse management and efficient supplier purchasing, inventory management and customer contracting will improve efficiency, sales and margins for Klipboard customers. Savance’s platform is currently in use at customers across the U.S.
