Electrical and industrial supplies distributor Border States announced April 20 that it has promoted Andrew Mikulak as Vice President of Distribution.
An 11-year company, Mikulak has held several branch leadership positions at Border States, most recently serving as Area Director, leading multi-branch operations. The company said that track record allows Mikulak to approach the role with operational depth and customer-centered insight, creating a collaborative environment to continue building on existing success.
“Throughout his career, Andrew has consistently demonstrated the ability to step into complex environments, quickly learn the business and lead effectively — capabilities critical to Border States as we continue to grow and evolve,” Border States VP of Supply Chain James Sipe said in a news release.
Fargo, ND-based Border States has over 3,700 employee-owners across approximately 120 branch locations across 31 states in the U.S.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to step into this role and build on the strong foundation and momentum our teams have created,” Mikulak said. “As Border States continues to grow, my focus is on supporting our employee‑owners and customers with the clarity, alignment and operational strength needed to sustain that momentum and enable future growth.”
